ACL Prevention Program
Recent studies show that 50% of female collegiate athletes have torn or will tear their ACL in their career.
WHY????
- Weak hamstrings compared to their quadriceps.
- Weak hip musculature leading to poor hip flexion when cutting and landing.
- Poor landing mechanics.
- Poor proprioception (balance) and core awareness.
- Hormones (sorry, I can't help that!).
Saturday morning small (4-6) groups to correct muscle imbalances and teach preventative exercises.
