Matthew Kimball, PT, DPT
Matt grew up locally in Medfield, MA, and he is graduate of Northeastern University in Boston, MA, receiving both his Bachelors in Rehabilitation Science in 2016 and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2017. While at Northeastern, Matt completed cooperative education experiences with Massachusetts General Hospital Sports Physical Therapy and Kennedy Brothers Physical Therapy. He later refined his skills with clinical rotations at Cape Regency Rehabilitation & Health Center, Cape Cod Orthopaedics, and University Orthopedics in Providence, RI. He has also worked with actors and dancers, including the Boston production of Moulin Rouge! at the Emerson Colonial Theatre in 2018.
Matt loves working and collaborating with individuals and athletes of all ages and backgrounds. His years of experience in outpatient orthopedics are reflected in a variety of treatment techniques and a combination of exercise and manual-based approaches, including Kinesiotape, Graston, and myofascial release. He has participated in continuing education courses surrounding ACL repair rehabilitation and injury prevention, running/race medicine, pediatric foot/ankle injury management, and post-concussion management.
In his spare time, Matt enjoys long-distance running, tennis, hiking, theatre, and discovering new podcasts.
