Reena Patel, DPT, MS, ATC
Reena joined Mass Sport & Spine in 2012. She is currently the clinical manager at our Westwood facility. Reena received her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Dominican College of Blauvelt in Orangeburg, NY in 2010. She also received a Master’s degree in athletic training from Seton Hall University in 2004. Reena has worked in the outpatient orthopedic setting for over 10 years. Throughout her training she has had the opportunity to work with a variety of sports related injuries, complex orthopedic cases along with post-operative patients. As an athletic trainer and physical therapist, Reena has worked with numerous high school, collegiate and professional level athletes. In 2011, Reena obtained a specialization in Corrective Exercise from the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
Reena’s interests are focused in orthopedic and sports related injury. She is a strong proponent of overall health and wellness. During her physical therapy schooling, Reena had the opportunity to work in an orthopedic-aquatic therapy setting where she treated patients with complex orthopedic and neurological impairments. She also experienced working with patients who suffered from traumatic brain injury during her clinical rotation at JFK hospital in Edison, NJ. Reena is a member of the APTA and recently became a credentialed clinical instructor. She continues to stay updated in her profession by attending conferences and continuing education courses regularly.
