Tyler Smith, PT, CES
Tyler graduated from Northeastern University in 1998 with his degree in Physical Therapy. Since that time Tyler has worked in a variety of settings within outpatient orthopedics. His experiences include busy outpatient clinics in private practice, hospital based care, athletic training rooms as well as field and slope-side event coverage. He has been certified as a CSCS from the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a Corrective Exercise Specialist from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. He also has training in Graston/FAKTR, Active Release Techniques and Subjective Functional Movement Assessment to go along with being a frequent participant in the Gambetta Athletic Improvement Network (GAIN).
Tyler enjoys working with patients helping them to recover from orthopedic, sports and work related injuries. He recognizes that both manual therapy and proper exercise prescription are important to full recovery and patients can expect both in each treatment session with Tyler.
When not in the clinic Tyler coaches lacrosse at King Philip High School and enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 children.
